  • Coverage Type : Clinical (Telehealth available; onsite preferred)
  • Coverage Period : 1 year
  • Clinical Shift Schedule : 40 hours / week (Specific days TBD)

  • Patient Demographics : Adults
  • Phone Consults : Yes Provider should be available 24 / 7 for emergency consultations

  • Support Staff Available : Nurse Practitioners

    • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Rate : TBD

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Virginia license
  • Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • DEA : Active DEA Certification
  • Certifications : NPI
  • Experience : No history of malpractice or disciplinary actions
  • Other Qualifications : Ability to handle correctional population and emergency phone consults

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Chief Psychiatrist
  • Deliver care either onsite or via telehealth (as applicable)
  • Be available for 24 / 7 emergency consultations via phone
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (when specified)
