Position
Summary : Join a
collegial and supportive group of 5 providers, including 1
physician and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
(APPs)
Enjoy a 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient
mix, with an average patient load of 18-25 patients per day
Call is currently 1 : 3 with very few calls,
all of which can be handled via phone
Our
office is equipped with an EMR system and offers a comprehensive
support team, including a genetic counselor, dedicated research
associate, and weekly tumor board meetings
Work alongside a strong primary care team, 10 RNs, 2 navigators, 1
RN case manager, 2 pharmacists, 1 pharmacy tech, 1 lab tech, 1
office manager, 1 clinical director, 1 social worker, 2 financial
counselors, 6 clerical staff, and 1 program director
Our program holds prestigious accreditations
from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACOS
CoC), National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC),
and American College of Radiology Radiation Oncology Practice
Accreditation (ACR
ROPA)
Practice Highlights :
Providers are assigned to three rooms, with patients roomed by an
RN and comprehensive assessments performed. A triage nurse handles
all incoming clinical calls
The office is
open from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Providers typically see
patients from 8 AM to noon and 1 PM to 5 PM, with new patient
consults scheduled for 60 minutes and follow-ups for 15-30 minutes
Outpatient, with APPs typically managing
inpatient rounding. Oncology consultations provided as needed for
hospital admissions
Inpatient rounding by
APPs for current practice patients, with admissions managed by the
hospitalist group
Call changes at 7 AM, with
ED physicians handling phone consults and acute leukemics referred
to higher levels of care
