Summary
As a Controls Technician I, you will install, calibrate and monitor automated industrial machinery. You will analyze and improve performance parameters of the automated system. You will conduct preventative maintenance and maintain records of maintenance performed, work orders requested and parts requested.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor Stand-alone PLC Controller by using various inspection logic
- Monitor PLC programs (Mitsubishi / Siemens) developed by vendor using various inspection logic and HMI
- Support Engineers for incident follow-up, root cause analysis and documentation
- Document control system and equipment configuration changes
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, inspection flow, control components – relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers and encoders
- Troubleshoot various status (I / O boards, encoder, light controller, modules and devices)
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization
- Collaborate with vendors
- Complete all safety training, policies and procedures as company required
- Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and / or surrounding work area
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards :

High School diploma or GED requiredVocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experienceExperience
1-2+ years of experience with machinery operation to include automated machines.Some experience with PLC is preferred but not requiredSkills
