We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago, IL for an Executive Director on for the AMA Foundation. This is a hybrid role, typically requiring three days a week in the office, with additional days required as needed.

This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of the foundation and in achieving programmatic and financial goals specified in the strategic plan and annual budget. Manage the operating budget and portfolio to meet the organizations mission and vision. Provide effective oversight of the organizations activities and operations. Make recommendations to the Board of Directors, plan and participate in all of their meetings, and serve the Board and its Committees in formulating the Foundations goals and objectives. Manage staff, programs and resources effectively and in a manner consistent with the Foundations Strategic Plan.

Responsibilities :

• Direct operations and manage the day to day responsibilities of the Foundation including, programs, financial oversight and human resources.
• Ensure that all contractual arrangements are up to date and approved by legal counsel.
• Serve as the Foundation staff liaison among the AMA Foundation, the AMA Alliance, and the AMA. Encourage open communication and strengthen relations between the AMA and the AMA Alliance and work collaboratively to meet their needs relating to the Foundation.

Additional Skills and Experience :

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $210,000-$290,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
