As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, observing the area, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to those onsite. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to incidents as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal training and guidelines.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual conditions.

Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or hazards observed during patrols.

Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.

Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide a sense of security for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
