The Cytotechnologist discriminates between the abnormal and normal cells through an in-depth knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of cells, tissues and organ systems to interpret cell morphology and render diagnostic decisions. Performs related duties as assigned. Position Details : Education : B.S. degree and graduation from an accredited school of cytotechnology. Licensure : ASCP certified or eligible. Experience : None. Certification / Registration : None. Other skills & knowledge (skills, knowledge, abilities) : Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements : Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 25 lbs., pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
