Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Description Desmond Heating & Cooling Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position serving Delaware, Chester County, Philadelphia, and surrounding regions. You’ll work with a locally owned company known for professionalism, reliability, and quality workmanship, providing installation, service, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, ice machines, and chillers.

• Install new refrigeration units, compressors, and controls according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability, safety, and efficiency.
• Perform leak detection, refrigerant recovery, and system charging in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Service electrical and mechanical components related to refrigeration equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and complete repairs efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate service reports, refrigerant logs, and equipment records.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and supervisors about findings and recommendations.

Qualifications - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
