You Are :

  • A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have :

  • Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

  • Projects in and around Wilmington, NC

    • Your Schedule :

  • Full Time (40hrs / Wk)
  • Mon-Fri from 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm

    • Your Contribution to Port City Sound

  • Pull / Terminate / Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
  • Mount devices at the ends of those wires
  • Build and lace equipment racks
  • Setup and configuration of devices
  • Understanding of networks
  • Troubleshooting of devices
  • Programming of Control & Lighting Systems (Control4, Crestron, Savant, Lutron, etc)
  • The pay range reflects apprentice level to advanced level skills

    • Requirements & Abilities

  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more
  • Mush have a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass NC Alarm Board background check

    • Port City Sound's Contribution to You

  • $25-$40 / hr
  • 60% paid health insurance for employee (access to other types of insurance and HSA)

  • PTO : 2 weeks, year 1-4 : 3 weeks year 5+ employment
