Vaxcom Services LLC (A Parsons company) is looking for a well organized, detail oriented Cargo Screener to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of a small, cohesive team that receives and processes cargo into a classified federal warehouse.

What You'll Be Doing

• Be the primary point of contact for all incoming cargo shipments to the classified federal warehouse.
• Physically receive and screen all incoming cargo shipments completing required documentation to accept the cargo while ensuring that standard safety protocols for handling of the items are adhered to.
• Use moving and / or loading / unloading equipment to bring the items from the delivery vehicle into the facility and to the end point storage location.
• Ensure that uncleared individuals do not handle nor possess classified material outside of their normal scope of business.
• Verify inventory lists / cargo manifests / bills of lading match items received and when there is a mismatch, accurately document the problem communicating to management.
• Inspecting for damaged items before accepting delivery of the cargo documenting the issue.
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as required by the Sponsor.
