Kendall Hunt Publishing is looking for a K-12 California Math Consultant . To be considered for this position prior experience as a classroom teacher or equivalent is preferred. This role will support and grow Kendall Hunt K12 within the state of California. The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting product information to groups of educators. The Math Consultant will be working with schools and districts in pre and post adoption situations to help them understand the materials submitted into CA state adoptions. This position will be based in California and will be a remote position with travel. Salary commensurate with experience.

In A Typical Work Week, the K-12 California Math Consultant Will...

  • Visit district and county offices to introduce and demonstrate Kendall Hunt products onsite or part of publisher events.
  • Support pilot implementations by providing feedback in person or virtually.
  • Deliver sales presentations to teachers, instructional coaches, and school leaders.
  • Support CA Adoption team to drive adoption and support regional goals.
  • Collaborate on in person and virtual sales and marketing events.

Characteristics of Who KH Looks for in K-12 California Math Consultant You are...

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (K-12 Education, K-12 Administration, Professional Learning).
  • Prior experience in educational publishing or classroom teacher.
  • A top performer that's used to going above and beyond the minimum expectations.
  • Competitive, highly organized, and self-driven.
  • Knowledge and experience applying professional learning principles, methodologies, and best practices to learner groups.
  • Well versed with Microsoft Suite, Google, Zoom. Online digital learning tool experience is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required, in accordance with the company's corporate driving policy.
