This position develops and creates technical support manuals used by internal support employees, distributors, technicians and operators to use, maintain, and repair for Transmissions. Technical accuracy and on-time delivery of these materials is critical for customer and stakeholder satisfaction. Efficient and controlled execution within the department’s XML publishing environment is necessary for sustainability. Task, project assignments and deadlines are coordinated within the department, and between the department and other stakeholders. Duties also involve working with Service Engineering to develop and validate procedures. The Writer must compose clear and concise procedures that conform to internal style, terminology and translatable standards, and coordinate the development of supporting figures / illustrations. The Writer must be able to work in a team environment in order to collaborate on shared topics and support the collective timing goals for product launch.
Salary Range : $35 / hr to $45 / hr; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
