Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Surgical Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel HIGHLIGHTS : Minimum two years of pediatric scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required Looking for strong skills in Eyes, Urology, Neuro and Ortho BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years' experience in Surgical Technologist role may be considered Floating - Travelers are the first Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location Day / Evening, Monday - Friday, 12-hr shifts 0700-1930 with weeknight, weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities License must be in hand at submittal Locals are not accepted 1st Time travelers accepted in some units Orientation is typically about one week ADDITIONAL DETAILS : Flu Vaccine : Required - Medical / Religious Exemptions Only Pass / Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria Telemetry exam requirements : Adult Exam : 100% identification of lethal rhythms No incorrect answers on 3rd degree heart blocks Passing score of 80% or higher Two attempts allowed RTO Requirements : Manager will review / approve during candidate review process.
