Hermeus is a high-speed aircraft manufacturer focused on the rapid design, build, and test of high-Mach and hypersonic aircraft for the national interest. Working directly with the Department of Defense, Hermeus delivers capabilities that will ensure that our nation, and our allies, maintain an asymmetric advantage over any and all potential adversaries.

As an Operations Manager, you will play a central role in scaling our operational infrastructureconnecting engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams to ensure we deliver hardware and systems with speed, quality, and precision. You will build processes from zero to one, streamline workflows as we grow, and eliminate barriers that slow down execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is deeply operationally minded, and can drive alignment across highly technical teams.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Own day-to-day operational cadence to support engineering, production, and program teams.
• Identify blockers early, prioritize critical path items, and drive timely issue resolution.
• Build and optimize workflows for hardware receipt, kitting, and material movement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms that enable rapid decision-making and track shifting priorities in real time.
