Food And Beverage Manager
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations across all Renaissance Corporation food and beverage facilitiesincluding Silas Creative Kitchen. This role ensures delivery of exceptional guest service, financial success, and adherence to food safety and hospitality standards. The manager collaborates with culinary and hospitality teams to implement operational strategies and maintain positive community relationships. Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
Essential / Primary Duties :
- Leads front-of-house operations across all Renaissance Corporation food and beverage establishmentsincluding Silas Creative Kitchen.
- Directs strategies to guide food and beverage operations to ensure profitability and operational excellence.
- Oversees staffing, service execution, and guest satisfaction, ensuring alignment with Midmark values.
- Maintains accurate inventory control and cost management.
- Ensures high standards of cleanliness, service, and guest engagement are met across all outlets.
- Builds and sustains strong relationships with guests, local vendors, and team members.
- Supports and mentors team members through coaching, development, and performance feedback.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop and execute event schedules and entertainment programming.
- Ensures successful cocktail service and partners with mixologists to maintain an upscale beverage program.
- Thinks creatively to develop and execute revenue-generating opportunities.
- Oversees setup, station assignments, and staffing needs for restaurant and lounge services.
Secondary Duties :
Coordinates with other hotel departments to deliver an exemplary guest experience.Provides content and collaborates with marketing and PR teams to enhance brand reputation.Assists with wine list and beverage program development.Monitors market trends to inform offerings and elevate service.Education and / or Experience : Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field and 5+ years of progressive experience in food and beverage or restaurant operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with hotel operations, multi-location management, or high-profile dining concepts, preferred.
Competency and / or Skill :
Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant and hotel food and beverage operationsSolid working knowledge of food safety and alcohol service standards (ServSafe, TiPS)Expert knowledge of reservation, POS, inventory, and banquet systems (e.g., OpenTable, TOAST, TripleSeat, Accubar)Comprehensive knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and craft cocktailsStrong leadership and team development capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skillsCreativity in guest engagement and beverage presentationStrategic thinking and problem-solvingSupervisory Responsibilities :
