About the Role
The Clinical Assistant Professor will serve as an Attending Psychiatrist in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic of Stony Brook University Hospital. Responsibilities include direct patient care in the child and adolescent outpatient clinic, diagnostic evaluations, and teaching and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows. Shifts totaling forty hours per week with cross coverage as necessary, including weekend / holiday coverage for a ten-bed Inpatient Child Psychiatry Unit with on call approximately once every 9-10 weeks. Telepsychiatry is currently offered with a hybrid work schedule; telemedicine policy could be subject to change by Stony Brook University and Stony Brook Hospital if needed.

Required Qualifications : MD / DO degree (or foreign equivalent). Board Certification or Eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Eligibility for New York State licensure.
