Job Title : Production Associate - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Location : Swiftwater, PA
Pay : $20.50 - $23.00 per hour
Schedule : Rotating shifts (including weekends and holidays. OT as required)

Our client, a global pharmaceutical leader in Swiftwater, PA , is seeking Production Technicians to support the manufacturing of the flu vaccine across several key departments. We Are Hiring for the Following Areas :
Downstream Processing
(Bachelor's degree in a Life Science or related field strongly required)
Downstream is responsible for critical purification, filtration, and clarification steps during vaccine production. Due to the technical and compliance nature of this work, a life sciences background is essential .
Key Responsibilities :
Clarification, concentration, diafiltration, and sterile filtration of biological materials
Prepare and sanitize equipment, tanks, and assemblies
Calibrate equipment (e.g., centrifuges, refractometers)
Execute CIP processes and perform filter integrity testing
Maintain thorough cGMP documentation and audit readiness
Participate in deviation investigations and process improvement
Biological Services (BSA / Services)
(High school diploma or associate degree required; military and / or aseptic experienced candidates preferred)
Services ensures clean, sterile, and compliant environments across the manufacturing facility. This is a great entry point into pharmaceutical production, especially for those with military, hands-on technical, or sanitation backgrounds .
Key Responsibilities :
Perform aseptic cleaning of production areas, equipment, and gowning rooms
Conduct environmental monitoring and water sampling
Manage inventory using SAP; support ordering and stock control
Complete production documentation and support deviation investigations
Set up and maintain equipment before and after production runs
Follow all cGMPs, SOPs, and safety procedures
Cart Transfer Operations
(High school diploma or associate degree required; military experience welcomed)
This role supports the logistics of egg-based vaccine production. It's physically demanding and ideal for those who enjoy active, structured work.
Key Responsibilities :
Safely transport egg carts (up to 800 lbs) across production areas
Unload incubators, transfer eggs, and load cold boxes
Operate cart washers and stack egg trays for hatchery pickup
Accurately document and log all activities
Use Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry
Follow all SOPs, cGMP, and safety protocols
Qualifications (Vary by Department) :
Downstream : Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field required
Services & Cart Transfer : High school diploma or associate degree; military and / or aseptic experience, or hands-on production / logistics experience preferred
Willingness to receive required vaccinations
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, perform repetitive motion, and be on your feet for 8-12 hours
Attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic
Basic computer skills (SAP, Excel, Word); strong documentation skills
