Dental Assistant - Correctional Facility

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist the dentist in treating inmates by setting up necessary instruments for each procedure and preparing impressions and filling materials.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation by sterilizing dental units and instruments after each patient.
• Manage dental supplies, including medications and equipment, while adhering to established inventory procedures.
• Maintain a clean work area utilizing appropriate sanitation methods.
• Review dental services provided to avoid duplication and ensure necessity.
• Monitor the completion status of inmates' required dental interventions and treatments.
