Supervisor Gas Control
The Supervisor Gas Control oversees the Control Room activities related to the safe and reliable operation of the Berkshire Natural Gas, Connecticut Natural Gas and Southern Connecticut Gas systems. Supervises and coordinates daily activity of Gas Controllers. Ensures continuity of gas service by anticipating quantity and pressure requirements in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner. Ensures compliance with 49 CFR 192 code related to Gas Control and Control Room Management. Directs the analysis of historic and projected gas supply and requirements data for modeling, developing and recommending facility and operational plans. Monitors gas quantities to ensure pressures do not exceed Maximum Allowable Operating Pressures (MAOP).
