Job description

We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 1, 2025. This critical role involves 24-hour shifts providing round-the-clock care in a NICU setting, addressing both high-risk deliveries and standard neonatal care needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure quality of care.
  • Handle a yearly delivery rate, with 10-12% being high risk.
  • Utilize the Epic EMR system to document all patient interactions and procedures.

  • Must be either board certified or board eligible in Neonatology.
  • A valid California Nurse Practitioner license is required for this role.
