Job Overview
The Live Production Technician supports the mission and vision of Oaks Church by ensuring excellent execution of all audio and video production elements for both internal and external events. This role requires strong technical skills with industry-standard equipment, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to contribute administratively to the planning and execution of live production environments. The technician will work closely under the leadership of the Production Director and in collaboration with the Audio Engineer to support and elevate the quality of every production environment, both on campus and off.

Responsibilities + Duties :
- Operate and maintain a range of professional production equipment, including but not limited to :
Solid State Logic (SSL) audio consoles – in connection with the Audio Engineer
Shure and Sennheiser wireless and wired microphone systemsD&B and L-Acoustics Sound systemsBlackmagic Design video switchers and controllersRED Komodo cinema camerasSupport the technical execution of all internal church events (e.g., weekend services, conferences, special events) and external rentals or partner events.Execute live production with attention to detail, ensuring audio clarity, video quality, and seamless transitions between elements.Assist with the setup, teardown, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audio / video systems in all spaces.Maintain organized and up-to-date equipment storage, inventory, and documentation.Collaborate with the Production Director on production schedules, run sheets, and technical documentation.Support and train volunteers as needed.Participate in rehearsals, meetings, and ongoing training to improve execution and efficiency.Qualifications
Agreement with the vision, values, and beliefs of Oaks Church.Demonstrated experience with professional-grade live production systems.Working knowledge of signal flow, patching, wireless frequency coordination, and camera shading.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform under pressure during live events.Basic administrative and organizational skills to assist in planning and logistics.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.A self-starter who can take initiative while following direction and church values.General Expectations
