PACU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maine or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PACU, Operating Room, or perioperative nursing

Proficient in scrub, circulate, and recovery room duties

CNOR certification preferred

Covid-19 vaccination required

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to confidentiality and organizational values

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care during the perioperative period

Perform nursing duties in the operating room, pre-op, PACU, and as a scrub or circulating nurse

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative healthcare team

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
