Consumer Loan Specialist (Part Time 20 Hours)

As a consumer loan specialist you assist members and prospective members who are seeking consumer loans through primarily inbound channels (phone and internet). You contact applicants to obtain information to help with completing loan decision or closing, noted by loan underwriters. You interact with applicants by telephone, email or mail. You perform a variety of clerical duties for the processing and evaluation of loan documentation for consumer loans, verify, QC and process loan documentation, and you provide general clerical assistance to consumer loan underwriters.

Work schedule is Mo-Fri 4 hours a day.

A day In the Life :

Consumer Loan Applications 60%

• Take loan applications from various sources, including over the phone and via the internet, conduct loan interviews, cross sell products, and write Picassos.
• Professionally communicate with members during loan interviews, on loan statuses, and outstanding questions regarding loan application requests.
• Contact applicants to obtain information to help with completing loan decision or closing, including identification documents and other requirement noted by loan underwriters.
• Print incoming loan applications and prepare for consumer loan underwriters to ensure that they are complete to decision by underwriters.
• Generate, audit and process various reports regarding consumer loans.
