Key Responsibilities :

Lead diverse technology projects and guide a skilled team of developers specializing in distributed microservices and full-stack systems, to create solutions that address the company's regulatory requirements.

Stay ahead of tech trends, explore new technologies, engage with tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers.

Collaborate effectively with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial independence.

Utilize programming languages and tools including JavaScript, Java, HTML / CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, various RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and an array of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience (excluding internship experience).

At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's Degree.

7+ years of experience in at least one of the following : JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.

3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.

4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.

1+ years in a people management role.

2+ years of experience implementing Agile practices.

The position offers a competitive salary range based on location. The salary for this role varies by location, with the following ranges :

Cambridge, MA : $193,400 - $220,700

McLean, VA : $193,400 - $220,700

Richmond, VA : $175,800 - $200,700

Other locations will have salary ranges associated with them. Actual salary offered will be reflected in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
