Senior Supply Chain Finance Analyst
The Senior Supply Chain Financial Analyst plays an integral part of the plant operations team by providing financial leadership and expertise. Through analysis and recommendations, this role is key to driving and improving performance, implementation of standard processes and strengthening of financial internal controls. This role acts as a liaison between the Operations and Finance teams, providing support and analysis of financial results and forecasts, business initiatives, and ad-hoc requests. This role maintains ongoing support for manufacturing strategic financials and cost saving initiatives. The Senior Financial Analyst participates in key activities and projects that drive and support the growth of Chobani.
Responsibilities :
- Perform weekly inventory true-up and settlements related to Milk processing
- Provide support to the team in the month-end close process and financial reporting package with specific responsibilities related to Milk, Cream, and Whey
- Reconcile specific general ledger accounts as assigned and make correcting entries as required, maintain financial controls review and lookback analyses monthly
- Maintain regular communication with Finance and Manufacturing teams in order to ensure the accuracy of cost-related inputs and the ultimate impact to profitability
- Support the preparation and analysis of direct labor at the plant analyzing actual labor hours versus standard required hours on the manufacturing production lines
- Report out supplier milk components, waste reporting, cycle count reporting, scorecards and other reporting as needed for key manufacturing metrics
- Liaise with inventory personnel on reasons for inventory write-offs
- Provide weekly and monthly KPI reports to plant leadership and executive Finance focusing on business performance and continuous improvement by highlighting key insights
- Play a role in the development and maintenance of accounting systems, processes, policies and internal controls
- Assist with periodic physical Inventory counts and work with external auditors during periodic reviews and assist in preparation of annual audit schedules
- Complete other tasks as needed to support finance and operations
Requirements :
