Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Radiology!

Position : Part-Time, Days (Three days a week, with varying days based on department needs)

No weekends required!

    • Qualifications and Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you should have :

  • A current state RN license or a multistate compact license.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.

    • Required Skills

  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or obtained within 90 days after hire).
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or obtained within 6 months after hire).
  • Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or obtained within 6 months after hire).
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

    • Minimum Work Experience

  • Two (2) or more years of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Knowledge of physical assessment, aseptic techniques, IV skills, and universal precautions.

    • Essential Functions

  • Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
  • Document patient care provided.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care.
  • Evaluate learning needs and provide appropriate education to patients and families.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

    • Department / Unit Summary

  • 1 : 1 patient ratio, as only procedures are performed.
  • Patients undergo procedures in radiology and are then taken back to the floor or to ACU for discharge.
