- Traveler must have both Neuro & Cardiac experience
- MANAGER STILL NEEDS TRAVELER TO HAVE NEURO and Cardiac EXPERIENCE WITH 3 AND 4 ON SKILLS CHECKLIST, CARDIAC ICU'S HAVE A HIGH AMOUNT OF STROKES, SO THEY NEED TO BE ABLE TO ASSESS FOR NEURO CHANGESPA / Swan Ganz monitoring and Post-Surgical Cardiac Experience required
- This is a variable (12 hour) shift position whereas traveler would be placed on shift where needs are. Currently the greatest needs are on nights however "variable" means that traveler could get moved to day shift if needs arise such as unexpected leaves etc. Note : schedules are based on a 4 week scheduling block thus a traveler would not be expected to work nights and days within the same 4 week scheduling period.
- Please ensure that the nurse are clear that this is the rotating variable shifts or straight 12-hour nights, and that they are not requesting a day shift. Special Equipment : If no ICU needs, travelers may be floated to an acute care unit. Travelers will receive a brief orientation to one acute care units within a cluster. May also float to PACU or ED for boarding inpatients only (ICU or Acute Care level patients). #Tier1 Travel Compliance Compliance deadline is 3 business days prior to contracted start date. DOB RTO - Please keep RTO to a minimum, NO RTO during orientation week, we CANNOT request RTO changes after contract has been signed so please ensure traveler has all RTO in prior to acceptance Facility is looking for RNs with 2 years of experience, some allied positions will consider 1 year of experience License Compact License or WA single state is acceptable Locals are accepted and no difference in Bill Rate Candidates will float within hospital EPIC experience is a huge plus but not required Background Policy : Facility requires clinicians to be fully compliant before reviewing any BG hits, DUIs or license hits. Please ensure clinician is aware and would like to proceed with submittal Prior UW staff must be separated from the facility for 18 months before returning as a traveler Two References Required upon submittal.
