Responsibilities Work in a Level I trauma, teaching, and children's hospital with 554 staffed beds CT Tech position performing procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, arthrography, myelography, CT angiography, and multiplanar reconstructions Cerner is used for electronic charting No floating required within or to sister facilities 10 or 12 hour day or night shifts are available on weekdays and weekends On-call required for weekday night and weekend 12-hour shifts First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment Scrub color is hunter green Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center environment Personal transportation required for some off-site locations Module training is completed during orientation and annually Drug screen must be completed within 30 days prior to starting Holiday time off is limited to approved holiday bundles; more than 7 days off requires approval No block scheduling is available Travelers may work up to 12 consecutive months before a break is required Former permanent employees may return as travelers if out of the system for 12 months or more No preceptor pay provided, and overtime must be approved prior to working Requirements Active ARRT-CT certification required in hand by the time of consideration Current BLS certification required State license can be pending at time of consideration; license required if applicable Will consider candidates based on overall profile and experience Completion of COVID vaccination is required; exemptions accepted with proper provider documentation No candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility will be considered Must provide a driver's license for facility compliance, or a written transportation plan if unavailable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611001.
