Job Overview
As an Esthetician Brow and Skin Care Specialist, you will bring passion for skincare, beauty and help your clients to achieve their skincare and beauty goals. You will develop and maintain a loyal client base and drive sales through outstanding customer service and experiences.
Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. What You Will Do
Build customer relationships through in-person, virtual or phone skincare consultations to assess their skin concerns, needs, and goalsEducate customers on the benefits of various skincare ingredients and techniquesDevelop customized skincare routines tailored to customers individual needs and preferences that will drive salesDemonstrate proper skincare from approved and trained services and provide hands-on guidance to clientsAssist customers in booking appointments for brow and skin services; call clients for events, appointments, and the arrival of new merchandise; and work as part of a team to meet individual, department, and store objectivesEnsure the customer understands and signs the service release formDrive customer acquisition. Leverage MyClient to nurture client relationships through impactful and personalized outreach. Drive sales through leveraging Macy's Loyalty ProgramRemain up to date with all training through Beauty Playground. Attend Vendor trainings and virtual trainings as assignedStay current on brand related product knowledge and beauty trendsMeet regularly with your supervisor to discuss your performance, goals, and actionsMaintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment in alignment with our company provided standards & guidelines; maintain compliance with State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and State Board of Health rules and regulationsMaintain all hygiene and sanitation standards for all Brow Bar areas and elementsFoster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communitiesRegular, dependable attendance & punctualityWho You Are
Have a current Esthetician License (Required)
Maintain and display a valid state-issued esthetician, cosmetologist, or waxing licenseThe colleague is responsible for any fees, additional training, and / or renewals needed as a requirementMaintain compliance with State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and State Board of Health rules and regulations1-2 years of experience working as an Esthetician or Beauty Advisor in a spa, salon, or skincare clinicStrong sales and customer service experienceComfortable with contact with clients / customers to provide consultations and treatmentStrong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peersResourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesSelf-starter, works well independently as well as part of a teamAbility to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and / or holidaysEssential Physical Requirements You Will Perform
Position requires continuous bending of neck, arms, torso, and legsPosition requires prolonged periods of standing / walking around store or departmentAbility to work in a fragrance-filled environmentMay involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color visionFrequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactionsFrequently lift / move up to 25lbs.About Us
