About The Position
We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Critical Care Medicine physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Dec 15, 2025. This opportunity features 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a) covering a pediatric patient population with a variable acuity level.

Responsibilities and Duties
Manage a patient population that is 100% pediatrics, from toddlers up to age 20Provide care for post-operative spine, cleft lip, and brachial plexus patientsIndependently perform central line placement and patient intubation, especially when Anesthesia is not on site over weekendsRound on a PICU with 5 licensed beds and an average daily census of 2-3 patientsOversee patients with an average length of stay of approximately 2 daysAdapt to a clinical environment without ECMO or CRRT capabilitiesAdditional Information
Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine requiredActive PA medical license requiredMust possess DEA and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificationCandidates should have a few years of post-fellowship experienceComfort with independent airway management and vascular access is essentialBenefits
