Tennessee Structural Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Structural Lead to work in our Nashville Office and oversee all structural engineering efforts in Tennessee. In this pivotal role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and mentor a growing team of talented engineers, driving the success of numerous high-impact projects. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our structural engineering initiatives, not only within Tennessee but also across multiple states.

As the Structural Lead, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring the seamless execution of projects and fostering a collaborative environment. You will have the chance to work on a diverse array of projects, from new constructions to replacements, and play a key role in the expansion of our bridge group. This position offers a platform to showcase your expertise, influence strategic decisions, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead all structural engineering efforts in Tennessee.

Oversee structural projects in Tennessee, including traditional and alternative delivery.

Collaborate with a large bridge group within the company.

Facilitate work sharing across the organization, contributing to over 100 active projects within the structures group.

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Licensed Structural Engineer in Tennessee, preferred.

10-20 years of progressive bridge / structural design experience.

A minimum of 4 years of experience working with TDOT, preferred.

Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microstation, OpenBridge Modeler, InRoads and / or Open Roads Designer.

Proficiency in structural analysis software such as OpenBridge Designer, Merlin, Leap Steal, CSI Bridge or other similar bridge design software.

Familiar with DOT Design Guidelines and Standards, AASHTO LRFD Design Guidelines.
