Hornig Companies seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to respond to work orders, prepare units for new move-ins and perform preventive maintenance throughout Hornig Companies' Minneapolis / St. Paul locations.

What would my responsibilities include?

Diagnose, trouble-shoot, and repair apartment maintenance issues like :

• Plumbing issues such as leaking faucets, toilets, and other fixtures
• Repair or replace blinds, closet doors
• Low-risk electrical repair or replacement of lighting, ceiling fans, smoke detectors
• Minor sheetrock repair and repair of building construction such as broken windows and locks
• Minor caulking of tubs and sinks
• Minor appliance repair
• Provide expertise on building repair, concentrating on preventing future maintenance concerns in historical and aging buildings
• Communicate with residents regarding repairs in a caring, compassionate manner that upholds Hornig Companies' customer service reputation as well as Fair Housing guidelines
