Job Details

Provides patient care under MD referral in our inpatient acute care and inpatient rehab settings. Maintains required documentation and professional relationships with patients, families and staff. Adheres to MH / department policies and procedures and JC / regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.

Responsibilities include :

• Administers Physical Therapy treatments per MD referral and in accordance with NYS practice act
• Performs comprehensive evaluations
• Develops appropriate treatment plans with realistic, functional goals
• Observes patients' response to treatment physically and psychologically and adjusts the treatment plan accordingly
• Educates nursing and other hospital staff regarding posture, body mechanics and transfer techniques as needed

USD $47.58 - USD $71.37 / Hr.
