Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Certified School Nurse (CSN) position is available at a K-8 school located in Norristown, PA. This contracted role spans the current school year (CSY) and entails working five days per week. The role involves serving as a building nurse, providing direct support and healthcare services within the school environment while collaborating with the existing nursing team on campus.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver prehensive nursing care to students in grades K-8, including health assessments, medication administration, and emergency response.
  • Collaborate closely with support nurses to manage and coordinate student health plans.
  • Maintain accurate health records and ensure pliance with state and school health policies.
  • Provide health education and promote wellness initiatives within the school munity.
  • Respond promptly to health-related incidents and facilitate munication with parents and healthcare providers as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Must be a Licensed Certified School Nurse (CSN).
  • Demonstrated experience in school nursing preferred.
  • Strong munication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of K-12 health regulations and protocols.
