Job Details :

2+ years of recent ICU experience required

Strong CRRT and IABP experience must be demonstrated

Patient ratios of 1 : 2 during days, nights, and weekends

36 hours of orientation provided

Travel experience required

Must be located more than 75 miles from facility to qualify as traveler

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Epic charting system experience required

Care for adult and geriatric patient populations

Manage ventilated patients and airway management

Arterial line management and central line management

Management of IV drips and continuous IV sedation

Titration of IV vasopressors

Interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias

Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure

Isolation precautions and infection prevention protocols

May float to different units as needed

Computerized documentation required

Handle patient diagnoses including STEMI, stroke, renal failure, sepsis, post cardiac arrest

Work with special equipment including IABP, CRRT-Prismax, Impella, Arctic Sun
