Engineering Technician- Electronics

Pay : $26-32 per hour + profit sharing
Position Objective :
Hands-on, day-to-day work related to Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities :
Relationship To Others :
Position is part of the product development group and supports manufacturing in problem solving.
Dimensions of Position :
This position needs a strong self-sufficient individual that can help design, prototype, and test new electronic and mechanical designs. This position will work closely with lead engineers and other technicians.
Qualifications :
E ducation and Experience
Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by the hiring manager and Human Resources.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a standard office and lab environment which requires occasionally lifting articles such as file boxes or heavier materials with help from others and / or lifting and carrying light objects frequently. A job in this category may require walking or standing to a significant degree or may involve sitting most of the time with long periods of computer work and phone usage. This position is onsite.
