Your Opportunity as a Supply Chain Intern

As an intern within our Supply Chain organization, responsibilities will vary based on your position. You will have the opportunity to assist in one of the following areas : Corporate Transportation, Corporate Warehousing, Customer Logistics, Commodities and Procurement, Supply Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, and Customer Supply Chain Initiatives.

Location : Bentonville, AR

Work Arrangements : Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires

In this role you will :

• Work cross-functionally throughout the supply chain with both internal and external partners, while collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing on business initiatives.
• Work directly with customers to understand needs and provide supply chain solutions that support service and growth.
• Manage and contribute to project-based assignments, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver results.
• Utilize data analytics and Key Performance Indicators to drive decision making for daily tasks and projects.
• Identify cost savings and opportunities that drive continuous improvement benefiting Smucker and the customer through data analysis.
• Implement process enhancements and monitor performance metrics while maintaining a focus on cost and service to the business.
• Enhance supply chain knowledge through department showcases and shadowing opportunities
