Job Summary
To provide research assistance to faculty. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- The ability to effectively, professionally and tactfully interact and communicate with faculty, students, and industry professionals
- The ability to manage projects and assignments in an efficient and effective manner
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of optometric examination equipment and some rehabilitative equipment
- Knowledge of basic formulas and deductive reasoning skills
- The ability to effectively gather information from a variety of sources, compile and analyze information
The ability to communicate effectively in English Required Qualifications - Education: Student enrolled in any program with Western University of Health Sciences in good academic standing.
- Student must meet Federal Work Study (FWS) qualifications, which are:
a. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
b. Must have a completed current FAFSA
c. Must have remaining financial aid unmet need
d. Must be in good academic standing at Western University of Health Sciences"
Preferred Qualifications - College of Optometry students preferred

Expected Pay Scale Minimum $17.00 Maximum $17.00
