Job descriptionFrom collecting samples to administering medications and calculating dosages, your expertise will be vital in ensuring our patients receive the best treatment possible. As a seasoned technician, you'll triage critical cases, monitor patient vitals, and promptly report any changes in status to the attending doctor. Your compassionate communication style will shine as you educate and update owners on their pet's condition and facilitate smooth patient discharges. Three 12-hour shifts Rotating weekends Compensation : $20 - $35 pending skills assessment leveling Shift Differential : 12a - 7a : Base + $5 About You : You are a confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care . CVT / LVT / RVT or VTNE Eligible is required 3-5 years of experience in small animal hospital setting is preferred It is incredibly important to our team to find the RIGHT fit . You are eager to continue enhancing your skill set and enjoy learning & collaborating with a team . Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role. Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team.
As an integral part of our overnight shifts, you'll be at the forefront of providing exceptional care to our hospitalized and ICU patients.
What You'll Do :
- Comprehensive Care : You'll be responsible for delivering top-notch care to a diverse range of patients, including postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, ICU patients, Urgent Care cases, oncology patients, and those requiring ophthalmologic attention.
