Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about patient care and education. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering trust and long-term relationships with patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult and child prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance procedures.
• Conduct scaling and root planing (SRP) and other periodontal therapies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical and chart notes.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with patients to establish rapport and enhance their overall experience.
• Collaborate with the dental team to support comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in coordinating referrals to specialists when indicated.
• Stay current with continuing education and best practices in dental hygiene and patient care.

Qualifications

Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in NY

CPR certification (preferred but not mandatory).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
