Job Description\n\nThe Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB) invites you to consider a challenging and diverse employment opportunity with our school. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual to fill a Substitute (PRN) RN or LPN position working in Salt Lake City with days in Springville and Ogden as needed.\n

  • This is a PRN position that works during the school year with an option to work during the summer.
  • \n\nRoles And Responsibilities\n\nAs a school nurse you will : \n
  • Provide special and general nursing services for students enrolled at USDB.\n
  • Provide treatment, care, and evaluation of students' medical needs.\n
  • Assist with medical emergencies, perform first aid as needed, and submit incident reports.\n
  • Complete documentation on time.\n
  • Ride in a van with a student to and from school.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\nThe Ideal Candidate Will Possess\n
  • Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Utah.\n
  • Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions.\n
  • Communicate clearly and effectively.\n
  • Enter, transcribe, record, store or maintain information in either written or electronic form.\n
