CNC Machinist - Multi-Axis Lathe

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our second shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience programming, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines, specifically multi-axis lathes.

• Responsibilities
• Set up and operate a multi-axis lathe to product parts to specification on small to medium production runs
• Read and interpret blueprints and / or work instructions to understand project specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts
• Collaborate with supervision and / or the engineering team to make adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Manage priorities based on a production schedule and adjust accordingly
• Requirements
• Prior experience operating CNC machines with Fanuc based controls
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• A strong understanding of G-Code programing
• Familiarity with CAD software is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with multiple types of material including but not limited to steel, aluminum, cast iron, titanium, etc.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours : No less than 48 per week
