Role Description

This role is not just about selling; it's about shaping how Brasada shows up in the market, curating deeply personalized experiences, and cultivating the next generation of clients who align with our resort's vision. You'll lead with creativity, data-forward strategy, and a deep understanding of how immersive, nature-driven luxury translates into high-value revenue generation.

You'll own wedding segment growth (~85%), while also strategically driving SMERF business (~15%), acting as a trusted partner to planners, clients, and internal leaders. The right candidate thrives on relationship building, moves fast with intention, and understands that how we sell is as important as what we sell.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in wedding sales.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset & passionate about the guest experience
  • Advanced relationship-building capabilities, with an ability to partner with planners, creative partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Sophisticated communication style-able to lead high-touch conversations with warmth and precision.
  • Skilled in balancing proactive acquisition with on-property hospitality and client care.
  • General Responsibilities

    Wedding Segment (~85%)

  • Lead the full wedding sales lifecycle-from inquiry to contract-with an emphasis on customization, storytelling, and pace-to-goal focus.
  • Actively shape Brasada's wedding positioning through partnerships, itinerary curation, and visibility with key market influencers.
  • Develop and execute strategic segment plans tied to budget, seasonality, compression, and long-term brand vision.
  • Conduct impactful site experiences showcasing Brasada's differentiators-leveraging culinary, wellness, sustainability, and "Touch Grass" programming.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine wedding messaging and digital footprint based on evolving buyer behavior and client feedback.
  • Maintain a pulse on industry trends and local competitor shifts, proactively adjusting strategy.
  • SMERF Segment (~15%)

  • Source and manage social, nonprofit, association, and regional group business aligned with off-peak season and revenue strategy.
  • Prospect via high-engagement channels that align with Brasada's values (community partnerships, leadership networks, local impact).
  • Conduct site visits and cross-functional conversations to deepen pipeline.
  • Elevated Sales Approach

  • Sell beyond standard offerings-identify opportunities for premium enhancements, extended-stay conversions, and multi-year event partnerships.
  • Deliver proposals reflective of Brasada's aesthetic and values (elevated, experiential, thoughtful).
  • Maintain CRM integrity to support forecasting, segment planning, and growth analysis.
  • Participate in weekly pace reviews, identify incremental opportunities, and own segment action plans.
  • Experience / Qualifications

  • 2+ years in wedding, event, or group sales (resort / boutique property preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding segment goals and growing market share.
  • CRM experience with strong attention to forecasting, pace, and pipeline accuracy.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the Pacific Northwest market and industry relationships is a plus.
