Dining Ops Specialist
The Dining Ops Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting Store Operations for existing and new store openings. Will work with store personnel to verify that processes and operations are configured as required to streamline operations and maximize profit. This requires excellent analytical and communication skills along with knowledge of store operations and processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, possess excellent analytical skills and demonstrate the ability to collaborate across multiple teams including Operations, IT, Accounting etc
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Primary Duties
- Planning, defining and assisting roll out of processes and procedures that include :
- Inventory & Cost Control :
- Staff Management
- Reporting & Analytics
- New store openings
- Platform / Store opening duties
- Provide onsite go live operational support
- Provide ongoing / post-openings operational support
- Assist with researching and developing critical paths for projects
- Analyzing operational data and providing feedback to management to support business objectives and strategic goals.
- Develop operational procedures
- Attend all required internal project meetings
- Conducts implementation, initial opening training, grand opening, and follow-on assistance
- Assists in developing site preparation plans and requirements for facility conversions
- Responsible for operational support and process improvement Including :
- Inventory Management : Overseeing the process and supporting inventory, ordering, waste processes among others
- Menu Management : Collaborate with different teams to develop and update pricing / menus processes among others.
- Shift Management : Collaborates to oversee shift schedules, staffing levels, and labor cost processes
- Staff Training : Develop and implement training programs and procedure to enhance staff skills.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
Possess an excellent understanding of restaurant operations and processesBack-office and front office previous experience required.Financial acumen and budget management experienceFamiliarity with industry-specific management information systems and office software.Skills in analyzing situations, identifying root causes, and developing, implementing action plans and processes.Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with both corporate and field resourcesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent data analysis skills. Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Functions / Formulas required)Good training, oral, and written communication skillsAbility to travel as neededPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
