Dental Assistant with Periodontal / Oral Surgery Experience.

We are searching for a dental assistant who specializes in perio treatment or oral surgery and has a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Clinical Duties : Assisting dentists involves preparing the operatory, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist during procedures.

Patient Care : Preparing patients for treatment, taking radiographs (X-rays and CT scans), and providing post-operative instructions.

Infection Control : Implementing and maintaining infection control protocols, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a safe clinical environment.

Equipment and Supply Management : Maintaining dental equipment, keeping operatories stocked, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent low stock.

Patient Education : Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.

• Expert in X-rays, CBCT / panoramic imaging, and patient charting.

What do you need to join our team?

5 years minimum of dental surgery experience

Completion of an accredited dental assisting program

Current BLS

X-Ray Certification

Written letter of recommendation, including current contact information
