Overview

Kimley-Horn's Cincinnati, Ohio (OH) office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Transportation / Traffic team. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

Perform traffic engineering and project management tasks for transportation planning, transit, traffic engineering, safety, and ITS projects.
Contribute to the growth of the transportation practice, creating a vision for personal and team development.
Assist with managing project profitability.
Engage in project delivery and mentorship.
Participate in marketing and business development efforts.

Qualifications

2+ years of traffic engineering experience, including traffic impact studies, parking studies, and site access studies.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

Engineer-In-Training certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Experience with Synchro, VISSIM, or similar traffic analysis software.

Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Detail-oriented and able to work independently and in teams.
