Standards Enforcer Establishes and enforces data standards policies and governance frameworks Responsibilities of an MDM Architect

Requirements Gathering Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand master data requirements data sources and integration points

Architecture Design Develop comprehensive MDM architecture including data models data flow diagrams and integration strategies

Tool Selection Implementation Evaluate select and oversee the deployment of MDM tools and platforms eg Informatica MDM IBM InfoSphere etc

Data Modeling Design and implement data models for master data entities such as customers products suppliers etc

Data Governance Quality Define data governance policies data quality standards and stewardship processes to ensure highquality master data

Integration Data Flow Design and implement data integration processes to synchronize master data across systems

Security Compliance Ensure master data security privacy and compliance with relevant regulations

Performance Optimization Monitor and optimize the performance of MDM solutions and data workflows profile is suitable for this role

Documentation Maintain detailed documentation of architecture data models workflows and standards

Stakeholder Engagement Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units to ensure the MDM solution meets organizational needs

Continuous Improvement Stay updated with emerging trends tools and best practices in MDM and data management
