Seeking a qualified Substitute Registered Nurse (RN) to provide school-health coverage at short notice across district sites. The successful candidate will protect student health and support educational continuity.

Responsibilities / Duties :

Evaluate student health concerns, deliver first-aid and emergency response, administer medications and follow up on health referrals.

Manage health-office operations : maintain records, monitor chronic conditions, implement health plans and coordinate with staff / families.

Provide health-education support, assist with screenings and promote wellness programs.

Travel between campus assignments, adapt to varying student ages and health-needs, and maintain confidentiality.

Assist school staff with health-related consultation, support safe school environments and comply with district health protocols.

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Washington State RN license required.

Previous nursing experience in schools, pediatric units or community settings preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced settings and manage multiple duties.

Strong communication and documentation skills; comfortable working with children, families and staff.

Completion of state fingerprint background clearance mandatory.

Reliable transportation and flexibility to cover changing assignments.
