Palma is a beloved, family-owned Italian restaurant in the West Village known for heartfelt hospitality, timeless cuisine, and a warm, intimate setting. We’re seeking a hands-on, service-driven Service Manager to oversee our front-of-house team and ensure a consistently excellent guest experience.
Responsibilities :
Oversee daily FOH operations with grace, professionalism, and attention to detail
Lead service and support staff during shifts
Manage and execute private events and special occasions
Ensure smooth guest flow, top-tier hospitality, and consistent service standards
Handle scheduling, training, and team development
Collaborate with management on service strategy and feedback
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and labor guidelines
Qualifications :
2+ years of FOH management in a full-service restaurant
Experience coordinating and managing events
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Calm, solution-oriented, and guest-focused
Familiarity with Resy, Toast, or similar systems
Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
