Speech-Language Pathologist Skilled Nursing / Full-Time

Location : Waverly New York (Southern Tier Region)

Employment Type : Full-Time Direct Hire

Salary : $91520 $114400 per year Sign-On Bonus

Schedule : Weekdays weekends and some holidays

Relocation : Assistance available

Job Description :

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive multidisciplinary therapy team. This position offers mentorship a state-of-the-art therapy environment and the opportunity to impact patient communication cognition and quality of life. CFY candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities :

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans

Provide therapy for speech language voice and swallowing impairments

Collaborate with physicians caregivers and rehabilitation staff to deliver patient-centered care

Document evaluations progress notes and discharge plans

Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and family communication

Conduct audiometric screenings and refer as needed

Assist with staff training and in-service education

Adhere to safety and compliance policies

Requirements :

Masters degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology

Current or eligible New York State license

ASHA CCC preferred CFY candidates welcome

Strong verbal and written communication skills
