Mainframe Modernization Engineer

A company is looking for a Mainframe Modernization Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve batch job failures and manage scheduled processes

Support system integration and code promotion processes, including connectivity and deployment

Provide technical leadership in modernization initiatives and mentor teams on legacy application migration

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Proven experience in mainframe operations, support, and modernization

Hands-on experience with batch processing and scheduling tools

Experience with cloud migration of mainframe applications is highly desirable

Prior experience mentoring teams and providing technical leadership in modernization projects
